Well most of you out there know of my passion for the Japanese Animation industry or (Anime). Well if you ever wondered how I apply that passion to real life then you should visit Anime Knight because this is a club that I host on the UCF campus. Anime Knight is a small group of people who share the same passion. So far we have completed 3 different anime series; Eureka Seven, Planetes, and Macross Frontier. Even if you are not into this sort of entertainment I highly suggest you to at least try out the site and see how we do things. The site will have the following:

Reviews of Anime that I personally have completed

Schedule of Future Anime series we will be watching

List and plots of Anime we have completed

Wallpaper

In order to view all this content you can either click on the link under Hosted Sites or go to: Anime Knight

Hello Folks,

I realize that in my earlier post I said I wouldn’t get a chance to work on anything until after this weekend, well I found myself with some time this evening and M49Productions is proud to announce SGG 1.1.0. the first patch release since the original release of Stargate Genesis. It takes very little time to download, and next to none to install. There is a change log that you can find in the Program Files folder in which SGG will be installed in to.

You will not need the previous version of SGG to run the patch, you can get rid of the those files and just run the installer. If you have questions please direct them to myself or Matt at any of the following contact options:

matt@m49productions.com

travis@m49productions.com

Thank You for all your support on SGG, we look forward to unvealing some of our new projects soon to come.

Hello Folks,

This is your friendly neighborhood employee who just got back from his vacation. This last week (16 – 24th) I spent my time in Tucson, AZ on vacation. I had a great time, going all over the city, even went to Phoenix AZ and saw Avatar in 3D Imax! It was a great experience, by far the best 3D movie I’ve ever seen.

That is what I have to say at the moment, the next few days I work at my local job here in Kewaunee, WI. So it will be at least until next week before I get anything for M49 done.

Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I have talked to everyone. I am sorry for being absent this past week, but I had 2 massive tests, one that I am sure that I Aced and another that I am hoping for a C-. Well, enough about school, I want to let everyone know about my favorite pass-time. How many of you have heard of Baja races? hmmmm…. Yeah it is not that well known. But if I were to say how many people know of Dune Buggy races, then I bet anything that I would get more people to talk. Well in a way that is what I have been up to this past year. I have joined a group called SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). I am part of ‘Knights Racing’ (the SAE Chapter at my school), I have been very active with this group since back in August of 2009.

What do I do in this organization? Well, I am glad that you asked, I have been making parts using a Lathe, Mill, and many more tools. Some of these tools I never knew even existed until I joined and now I am really enjoying learning and getting dirty gaining experience in a field that I am loving more each and every day. Our school has two different teams, the Baja Team (This is the best one, don’t let anyone tell you differently ) and the Formula team. As you can tell there is a small rivalry within the club between the teams but we do help each other out and are like one big, messed up family of sorts. The cool thing about our team is that we have our own Garage that is located on the edge of campus, this means that we don’t really have to share with different classes or what not.

I have gotten the opportunity to drive the Baja car a few times and can say with assurance that there is nothing like flying over bumps and mud in one of these things. It accelerates like no one’s business and handles very well. It does flip but that is one of the exciting parts of driving these things. The chassis and everything (except the 10hp Briggs and Stratton Engine) are designed entirely by us the students of the University, so as you can expect we take a lot of pride in how it turns out and the quality that goes into it. I could go on forever about this topic but will spare you from hearing me ramble on about this subject. If you want to learn more please feel free to shoot me an email using the Contact form on this site. I would love to talk more about it with everyone, If you want you can start a conversation in the comments. Here are some pics of the Shop if you are wondering what it looks like.

Well I know this post wasn’t about M49, but it was about another one of my passions. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Well talk to you later. Have a great week.

Hey Folks,

Travis here again, so here whats up here at M49 at the moment. Matt is currently studying for two large test for school so I figured I would post this weeks Weekly. Our projects have been a bit slower this last week, as I have been unable to work on anything due to packing and planning my vacation. I am flying out from Milwaukee Int Airport Tuesday Afternoon and flying to Tucson, AZ for a week. So I’ll pretty much be non-existent here for the week or so. But I’ll let Matt make some noise then.

Unfortunately I was not able to finish the E-Reader before I leave, so that will have to wait to be released until I return. Meanwhile I hope you all have a great week, and God Bless!

Travis

Vice-President/Sr. Developer

P.S. This last week I was recently promoted here at M49 to Vice-President!

Hello everyone from M49Productions. I am Travis Kunze, I am the Sr. Developer, and Asst Project Manager, as well as a Consultant here at M49Productions. I figured it was about time I spoke up on here, after I see Matt’s twenty-two post to my zero. I have been working with M49 for sometime now. Going on three years now I believe. I am behind a lot of what goes on at M49Productions, from Website Enhancements, to leading the staff behind all the projects. I will tell you all this that you all have a lot to look forward to from M49Productions for this year.

What is M49Productions up to? You might ask this questions because of the forums recent closing, and the silence surrounding M49. The truth is there is a lot going on still at M49Productions including a Update/Patch for SGG, and a entirely new product that will push our skills to the limit, and that’s all your getting on that.

In the next couple of weeks, we will be releasing a update to the website that will allow folks to easier access the e Books from M49Productions. Still allowing you to download in PDF form, but also letting you read instantly online, on your mobile device, as well as audio versions and Kindle Compatibility (Kindle will be in Beta).

Well that’s about all I’m allowed to tell you at this point. Ill post another announcements once the E-Reader is online and ready for use. Until then keep checking back with us, our FB page, and our Twitter page.

Some changes have come to M49Productions. 1 Major and a few minor.

Forums: Well the Forums are closed until I see a need for them again. They were pretty much dead. Last september we had 127 posts a day while for all of January we only had 4 and that was not the only month, they have been dying out since October. I am sorry about this but I still want to help everyone if they have problems. The way to contact me is through the Contact page of the site. Just enter your email, issue and a description. I usually answer the same day.

Round-ness: as you can see, (if you cant clean out your cookies), I have added rounded ends to the sidebars. This will help the site flow more smoothly.

Hosted Sites: I have also decided to advertise the site that I host. So far it is only Snacktimestring, a yo yo string company that gives you candy when you purchase a set of strings or possibly one of their possible future uber-awesome T-Shirts. Now here is the thing, if you ask to be hosted by me I might be able to do it, however, I do reserve the right to decline the request on the grounds that I do not see potential in the site or that your site will violate M49Productions mission statement. If you do not know it please click the About link.

That is all for now. God Bless

Well as you all should know by now it is no longer 2009 but 2010. This will mean that for the next month I will be writing 2009 I mean 2010 on my checks. *Facepalm*. I am planning a lot of updates for this coming year, I am finally happy with the way the site is laid out and there probably wont be many changes to the design, only to the content. As you can expect, however, not all of my content will survive the new year. This past year I discovered that I have lost some motivation in certain projects and also learned that some need to be cancelled. Because of my school schedule getting harder this means that for this next year only projects that require less work will be released. So without further ado here is the list of the projects that will make the transition into the new year.

Stargate Timeline:

I know that this past year did not see ANY updates to this project but I still have the files and intend on finishing this series. I have gotten plenty of emails about restarting it and will do so. I will not give a date for when the newest chapter will be released but it should be out before the 11th. I have to reinstall the script writer as well as catch up on what was written so far. But fear not we will not leave Kirk and the gang hanging.

Fight of the Pegasus:

My SCI-FI/Mecha Novel will be returning with chapter 3 and on. I hope to complete this novel as well. Now what I want to say here is why I chose this format for a novel. Well SCI-FI is obvious, I was born and raised a Trekkie as well as a Stargater. The transforming ships idea came to me in 2008 when I was introduced to “Super Dimensional Fortress: Macross”.

Plot Summary(SDF Macross): In 1999, an alien spaceship crashes on South Ataria Island and makes the human race aware of other life in space. Ten years later, the ship is reconstructed and christened as the SDF-1 Macross. However, on the day of its maiden voyage, an alien race called the Zentradi make their appearance on Earth—thus beginning Space War I, a UN Spacy/Zentradi war that would change the history of both races forever.

The Macross is the ship that the FCS Pegasus is based on and where the idea of transformation (M.A.T.) comes from. The name Pegasus comes from my University, which has the Pegasus as the academic logo. This series as I have been saying before was published in a magazine, however, due to recent problems that publication has ceased to exist. If anyone wants to start a newsletter for M49 or their own site. I would be glad to submit this series to you for publication.

Stargate Genesis

Now I would like to let you all know that SGG will NOT make the transition. I know this is not good news, however, the game will still be supported by M49P. I am considering (not sure yet) giving up the source to someone if they can show that they will improve it and complete it. I know that SGG has been our staple product however, I just do not have any more time for it. But I do have something else on the back burner of my mind that may resemble SGG. So fear not it will not be gone for long.

M49Gallery has been moved underneath the Resources section. In Resources you can find different Research, and other material that I will make available. Our first “Resource Paper” is called “Selection and Design of Welds”. This was a paper that a group I was in for class wrote to help understand the different weld styles.

Well that is what is coming for this next year. I hope you all enjoyed your New Years and have a wonderful 2010.

God Bless

For the first time in Program history the UCF Knights (formerly: Golden Knights; 1979-2007) will face off against a very well known school called Rutgers, whose mascot happens to be the Scarlet Knights. These teams will meet at St. Petersburg tonight in the St.Petersburg Bowl. The game has been sold out with more than half of the tickets going to the UCF fan’s due to it’s close proximity to Orlando. This game will feature the 4th best Rush Defense in the nation (UCF) against a decent Rutgers Defense. That is however the only great points to these teams, their defense. Their offenses are fairly well matched and if I had to give a team an advantage I would have to give it to Rutgers, but very very slight. This game will be feature on ESPN at 8pm EST. Here is a recap of the UCF Knights 2009 Football Schedule.

As you can see both teams record’s are 8-4. However UCF has a better Conference record of: 6-2. While Rutgers Conference record is 3-4.

This year has been a year of firsts for the UCF Knights. If I had to choose a team that would win this game I believe that UCF has the motivation and the will power to finally pull off the program’s first Bowl Game Win. My prediction will be 21-17 UCF winning by 4 points. It will be a very close game and I personally cannot wait to watch it.

GO KNIGHTS!!!
